New page

==Electrical supply problems==
This can manifest in various ways, from flickering lights in the house, to circuit breakers tripping and cutting power.

=== My lights flicker or dim whenever the SSR for the heated bed switches on ===
This issue is most-likely an issue with voltage drop in the electrical outlet circuit stemming from the wiring at your location. Sudden increases in power may cause an excessive voltage drop within the supply circuit, which can manifest as your lights dimming if your machine is plugged in to the same circuit as the lights. Try using a different socket and see if the problem goes away. There's not much else you can accomplish here, as this is inherently a limitation with the wiring of the location you're running your printer.
