The standard parking post design is parametric where both height and pin-to-pin spacing can be adjusted to accommodate many tools.

Designing for a Parking Post

Tool designs need to include two ~5[mm] pin hole locations from the front. These holes are where the parking post pins will connect to the tool and hold it when the tool is unused.

If you are working from the standard tool template, the parking post pins can be located anywhere in the region below:

The location above determines what corresponding parking post will accept this tool.

Matching a Parking Post to a Custom Tool Design

To choose the parking post "part number," there are two required measurements:

  1. pin-to-pin center spacing in millimeters
  2. pin to twist lock height spacing minus 9.5 in millimeters
